A Dimen in the Rough

Dimen was a bright and curious girl with long blonde hair that shimmered in the sunlight. She lived in a small, cozy town where everyone knew each other. But Dimen felt a bit out of place, as she didn't have a family like the other kids. That changed one sunny afternoon when her teacher, Mrs. Maple, noticed her sitting alone during recess. Mrs. Maple, with a warm smile, sat next to Dimen and they talked about everything from stars to seashells.

Over time, Dimen and Mrs. Maple grew very close. Mrs. Maple would often share stories of her adventures around the world, and Dimen would listen, wide-eyed and full of wonder. Dimen realized that being adopted by Mrs. Maple was the best thing that ever happened to her. She was no longer a 'Dimen in the Rough' but a sparkling gem cherished and loved. Together, they looked forward to many more adventures.
