Ellie in the Garden
Ellie and the Golden Tomatoe
Ellie, the bunny with long ears and a fuzzy tail, was very hungry. She hopped into Farmer Mary's garden looking for something to eat. The garden was full of delicious vegetables and fruits. Ellie spotted some shiny, golden tomatoes. She couldn't resist and started munching on them.
1
Farmer Mary came out to water her plants. She noticed some of her golden tomatoes were missing. She looked around and saw little bunny footprints. Farmer Mary wondered who had been eating her special tomatoes.
2
Ellie heard Farmer Mary coming and quickly hid behind a bush. She watched as Farmer Mary examined the tomato plants. Ellie felt nervous but also very full. She hoped Farmer Mary wouldn't find her.
3
Farmer Mary spotted Ellie hiding behind the bush. 'Ellie, have you been eating my golden tomatoes?' she asked. Ellie shook her head quickly, even though she knew it wasn't true. Farmer Mary looked at Ellie with kind eyes.
4
'Ellie, it's important to tell the truth,' Farmer Mary said gently. Ellie looked down at her paws. She took a deep breath and admitted, 'Yes, I ate the tomatoes.' Farmer Mary smiled and thanked Ellie for being honest.
5
Farmer Mary explained how special the golden tomatoes were. She told Ellie that they were meant to be shared with everyone. Ellie felt bad for eating them all by herself. Farmer Mary suggested they work together to grow more tomatoes.
6
Ellie and Farmer Mary planted new tomato seeds in the garden. They watered them and took care of them every day. Ellie learned how much work went into growing food. She felt proud to help and promised to always ask before eating.
7
Soon, the garden was full of golden tomatoes again. Ellie and Farmer Mary shared them with all their friends. Ellie felt happy knowing she had done the right thing. She learned that honesty and teamwork made everything better.
