The Cozy Little House

Timmy and the Lost Kitten

Long ago, in a small village, there was a boy named Timmy who lived with his mum and dad in a cozy little house with a big garden. Every day, Timmy's mum warned him not to go near the dense forest at the edge of the garden because it was too dangerous. Timmy loved playing with his toys in the garden and always stayed close to home. He was a happy boy who enjoyed the simple things in life.

One sunny afternoon, Timmy found a tiny, fluffy kitten playing near the garden gate. The kitten looked lost and scared. Timmy decided to take the kitten inside and gave it some milk. They quickly became friends and the kitten started to feel safe with Timmy.

The next day, Timmy was playing with the kitten in the garden. They chased each other around and had a lot of fun. Timmy laughed as the kitten pounced on a butterfly. It was the perfect day filled with joy and laughter.

But then, the kitten ran towards the forest. Timmy called out to the kitten, but it didn’t stop. Without thinking, Timmy followed the kitten into the forest. He was determined to bring his new friend back home.

Timmy realised he had wandered deep into the forest and couldn't find his way back. The tall trees and thick bushes made everything look the same. He started to feel scared and alone. The forest was much bigger and scarier than he had imagined.

Just then, Timmy heard his mum calling his name. She had noticed Timmy was missing and had come looking for him with Dad. Timmy felt a wave of relief and hope. He called out to his parents, letting them know where he was.

Timmy’s mum and dad found him sitting under a big tree, holding the kitten. They were so relieved to see him safe. Timmy hugged his parents tightly. They all walked back home together, happy to be reunited.
7
Timmy promised never to go into the forest alone again. They decided to keep the kitten and named her Lucky. From then on, Timmy and Lucky had many safe and happy adventures in the garden. They were the best of friends, always looking out for each other.
