Three Big Dreams
Vidit's Big Dreams
Vidit stood in front of his bedroom mirror, his bright eyes full of dreams. "I want to be a singer, a dancer, and a doctor when I grow up," he whispered to himself. His short black hair bounced as he nodded with determination. Vidit knew that with practice and hard work, all his dreams could come true.
1
Every morning, Vidit woke up with a song in his heart. He grabbed his toy microphone and sang his favorite tunes while getting ready for school. His voice filled the small house with joy and energy. "Your singing makes the sun shine brighter," Mama would say with a smile.
2
After lunch, Vidit turned the living room into his dance stage. He twirled and jumped to the rhythm of his favorite songs. His little feet moved quickly across the floor, creating patterns only he could see. Mama and Papa clapped along, amazed by their son's energy.
3
Vidit carefully placed his string stethoscope on Papa's chest. "Take deep breaths," he instructed with a serious face. He checked Papa's temperature with a plastic thermometer from his colorful medical kit. "You are healthy today, but eat more vegetables," Vidit prescribed with a professional nod.
4
Vidit's teacher announced a class talent show, and his heart raced with excitement. He practiced his favorite song every day after school. When the big day came, his legs felt wobbly with nervousness. But once he started singing, his clear voice made everyone smile and clap.
5
Ravi fell during recess and scraped his knee badly. While other children stood watching, Vidit rushed to help his friend. He gently cleaned the wound with his handkerchief and helped Ravi to the nurse's office. "You're a real doctor already," the school nurse said, making Vidit beam with pride.
6
Some dance moves were too difficult for Vidit to learn. He tried and tried but kept stumbling over his feet. "I can't do it," he sighed, sitting down with a frown. But after resting, he stood up and tried again until his steps matched the rhythm perfectly.
7
"To make dreams come true, you need practice and patience," Papa explained during dinner. Mama nodded and added, "And always keep kindness in your heart while chasing your dreams." Vidit listened carefully, soaking in their wisdom like a sponge. That night, he dreamed of singing to patients while dancing through hospital hallways.
8
The neighborhood festival was filled with colorful decorations and delicious food. When the children's performance began, Vidit stepped onto the small stage with confidence. He sang a traditional song his grandmother had taught him, his voice clear and strong. The audience cheered loudly, and Vidit's heart swelled with joy.
9
Vidit visited his elderly neighbor who was feeling sad after her cat ran away. He sang her favorite song and performed a funny dance that made her laugh. "Your singing and dancing are good medicine," she told him with a smile. Vidit realized his talents could help people feel better in many ways.
10
As months passed, Vidit's voice grew stronger and his dance moves more confident. His toy medical kit was joined by a real stethoscope that Papa bought him. "Your dreams are growing with you," Mama said, watching him practice all three passions. Vidit nodded seriously, knowing he didn't have to choose just one dream.
11
Vidit stood on his tiptoes, trying to see his future in the mirror. He imagined himself singing to large crowds and dancing on big stages. He saw himself in a white coat, helping people feel better with kind words and medicine. "I'll be all three," Vidit promised himself with a determined smile.
