It's a sound you're beginning to know. Tip tap, it's Sophia coming to say hello. Sophia shongololo loves shoes of all shapes, sizes and colours. Especially ones that sparkle and gleam. When she is marching along the forest floor it's the most magnificent sight you have ever seen. Shhh, listen carefully tip tap tip tap. Her footsteps sound like a beating drum. Look at all her shoes sparkle in the sun. How many shoes can you count? One, two, three, four five... slow down Sophia.Shhh... listen carefully tip tap tip tap Sophia is getting ready for bed. tip tap mommy shongololo is giving her a kiss on the head. sophia has taken off her shoes and brushed her teeth. with trees above her and leaves laying underneath. the little shongololo is crawling into bed warm and snug. sophias mommy is there to give her one last hug. sophias eyes are closed, she is fast asleep. dreaming of her rainbow shoes, there is no more tip tap, not a peep

HAZEL COULD'T WAIT TILL SUMMER VACATION SO SHE CAN VISIT HER COUSINS IN THE COUNTRY. BUT HAZEL WAS NOT FAMALIAR WITH INSECTS LIKE ANTS AND HOW THEY BITE  AND CREATE SORES. HAZEL STEPPED IN AN ANT BED AND SHE BEGAN TO SCREAM. HER FATHER RAN OVER TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG. HAZEL HE NOTICES SHE HAD ANTS ON HER. HE BRUSED THEM OFF AND WHIPPED AWAY HER TEARS. HE TOLD HAZEL HE WILL PUT SOME CREAM ON HER BITES AND THEY WILL FEEL BETTER. HE BEGAN TO EXPLAIN TO HAZEL ABOUT THE ANTS AND HOW THEY ARE NEEDED ON EARTH. HAZELED NODDED WITH A SMILE AND STATED THAT SHE WILL BE MORE CAREFUL AND TO LOOK OUT FOR THE ANTS.

Chensan was a lively and cheerful boy. He lived within the old walled village of Longxue Head, where his family's ancestral hall had been built beside the walls for generations. Every day after school, Chensan would go play at the gate of the ancestral hall. The moss-covered ancient stone steps in front of the hall was where Chensan liked to jump around, pretending he was a dragon.

Chensan's best playmate was Meihu, a girl from the neighboring village who grew up there. They often went together to the Tianhou Temple in Longxue Head to play, looking at the candles and offerings in front of the statues. Chensan found everything in the Tianhou Temple novel. Sometimes, he and Meihu would also go to the ancient well at the entrance of the village to have water fights.
It was Chensan's tenth birthday and he was excited for the lantern lighting ceremony. That night, dressed in traditional attire, he carried a torch and incense burner as he walked to the Deng Gong Shrine in Songling. It was Chensan's first time entering the majestic shrine hall, and he was amazed. Under the light of the flames, the glittering wall paintings appeared one by one before his eyes.

After the lantern lighting ceremony ended, Chensan and his family went to the Tianhou Temple to pay respects. On the way home, the moon hung high in the sky, bathing the ancient walled village in an unusually peaceful glow. For the first time, Chensan developed a deep fondness for the traditional culture of his hometown.
As Chensan grew older, he began to learn more about the history and culture of Longxue Head. From the village head and other elders, he heard the origins of the walled village, shrine halls, and Tianhou Temple. Chensan also started researching how to preserve these important cultural heritages that represent the local traditions...

How to be safe around Fire 

Adam learns to say sorry. Adam is sometimes rude and then he regrets when he does or says something bad, but it is difficult for him to say "I'm sorry". Adam learns to apologize to others if he did or said something he shouldn't have. Adam notices that if you say the magic word "I'm sorry", then everything ends well and things can be nice again.

Once upon a time, in a cozy burrow under a big oak tree, lived a little rabbit named Pip. Pip loved carrots more than anything in the world. He'd spend his days hopping around the garden, munching on crunchy carrots with a big, happy smile.

One sunny morning, Pip's mom surprised him with a special treat: carrot cake! It was fluffy and delicious, with tiny carrots peeking out from the frosting. Pip took one bite and his eyes widened with delight. This was the best thing he'd ever tasted!

But Pip was a curious little rabbit. He wanted to know how the cake was made. So, he followed his mom into the kitchen. There, he watched as she mixed flour, sugar, and eggs. Then, she added grated carrots and a secret ingredient that smelled wonderful. Pip's nose twitched with excitement.

When the cake was baking, Pip hopped around the kitchen, sniffing the delicious smell. Finally, it was time to eat! The cake was even better than he remembered. Pip licked his whiskers happily.

From that day on, Pip loved helping his mom bake carrot cake. Together, they made the best carrot cake in the whole forest! And every time they took a bite, they remembered the fun they had making it together.
