Training with other pups might help you find your way.” Eager to try, Ahri joined the academy, where she met Nilah, who was excited about the training. Together, they navigated the obstacle course. When she got tangled in a wire crawl, Ahri began to cry, feeling as if she had failed. Sargent Carly comforted her, saying, “You didn’t fail; you tried, and that’s important. You can try again.” Encouraged by Carly’s words, Ahri trained diligently. On her next attempt, she successfully completed the course, her friends cheering her on. Rabbit is getting ready for the long cold as well. Rabbit is harvesting and stacking many carrots. Little Fox thinks, " Maybe some carrots would be good in my soup." Little Fox gives Rabbit two acorns for one carrot. Little Fox heads on down the walk by Hedghog's hole. Hedgehog is busy collecting moss for his bed and twigs for his door. Little Fox helps Hedgehog gather his supplies. Hedgehog gives Little Fox 2 bundles of twigs for three acorns. Little Fox continues down the walk to find more things for the long cold. Little fox came upon Turtle fishing in the pond. " Wow, some fish would be tasty in my soup!" he exclaimed. Turtle gives Little Fox 3 small fish for 4 of his acorns. Little Fox continues down the walk to find more things for the long cold. Little Fox finds Porcupine stuck under a log. Little Fox lifts the log and helps Porcupine to get free. Porcupine gives little fox a quill for his help! Satisfied with his adventurous walk, Little Fox begins to head home. Little Fox's wagon is a little heavier than when he started. He pulls his wagon around Turtle's pond, over Hedgehog's hole, passes Rabbit's house, and finally reaches his den. Little Fox is tired from his work today, but he's not finished yet. Little Fox takes everything inside. He looks at his findings for the long cold and is happy. He has an acorn, crunchy carrots, and tasty fish for his soup! He has plenty of twigs to keep his fire warm and toasty and a new quill to knit a new tie and cap! Little Fox finishes eating his soup and climbs into bed for a well-deserved good night's rest. The End.

Gypsy-Rose knew she shouldn’t leave the house, but a talking fox! How cool was that? She tiptoed downstairs, slipped outside, and hurried toward the forest. But the snow was deep, and the fox was too fast. “Wait! I can’t keep up!” she called. The fox sighed. “We have places to go, so I suppose you can ride on my back.” Excited, Gypsy-Rose climbed on, and they sped through the trees. Along the way, they met the fox’s friends—a wise old owl, a towering moose, and a deer with magnificent antlers. When she heard howling, she shivered, but the fox reassured her. “That’s Fenrir, our protector.” A beautiful wolf appeared and led the way deeper into the forest. “Where are we going?” Gypsy-Rose asked, but the fox only grinned. Suddenly, the trees opened up to reveal a hidden winter wonderland. A frozen lake sparkled under the stars, and in the center stood a giant glowing tree. Tiny fairies fluttered around it, their wings shimmering like frost. “This is the Heart of the Winter Forest,” the fox said. “Only those who believe in magic can find it.” Warm lights glowed inside the tree, and the air smelled of chocolate and cinnamon. Little creatures with fluffy white fur brought out steaming mugs and delicious treats. Gypsy-Rose sat with her new friends, sipping hot chocolate, feeling warm and happy inside.
