Finally, all the animals raced toward the finish line together. To everyone’s surprise, the fish, who had steadily swum along the whole race, crossed first! The snake, though he didn’t win, felt happy for the fish and thanked the squirrel and rabbit. Snake: “I was wrong to be so proud. Kindness and teamwork matter more than winning.” From that day on, the snake became a better friend, and the animals of the forest learned that working together brings the greatest rewards.

"I thought your hair was really cool looking, I wish my hair would curl like that." Nylon gave a slight smile but on the inside he felt confused, but realized that none ever told him that they did not like his locks, no one ever made fun of him that he had extra curly hair, but instead it was his insecurities about his locks that made him feel that everyone else felt the exact same way that he did. From that day on Nylon realized sometimes being different is what makes us all be unique. Nylon went back home and told his dad that he thinks he will let his hair grow back.
